John Alcock
 John Alcock is a Birmingham-born writer and former Lecturer in Drama and Director of Creative Writing at Warwick University. He has a special interest in writing poetry for performance for which he won a Richard Burton Award. He is also a Housman Prize winner. He has published, broadcast and given readings in the UK and USA. His third book, Timestop, was published by Poesia in 2011. He has twice chaired Cannon Poets, which he joined shortly after its foundation, and is proud to have been made an Honorary Member. |
