When I Saw Kanato Dance by Penny Turner
Kanato mentioned places where spirits were: Well, maybe spirits - and we go there To visit them, that is our religion... In Japan, a dancer - if the spirit dances in one - In him - that makes him dance well...it is not him who dances He floundered clumsily, clutching at words. I, patiently pedantic, corrected what I heard.
Then one day I saw Kanato dance. And it was not Kanato dancing, but the spirit. I saw this joyful, graceful spirit dancing In his face and in his every gesture.
There are no words, in any language
